Fun Fest 2008
Fundraiser held by the Hoffman Book Pals on May 17, 2008 with proceeds going towards childrens programs.
The Hoffman Book Pals raised $850 for the Children's Programming at the Hoffman Library.
The fundraiser was headed by Joyce Michael, with assistance from a dozen or more Book Pals. Many volunteer hours were invested by Hoffman patrons, as well as Centralia book pals, who chose to support the Hoffman facility.
NanaClown made an appearance. The bounce house was a great success, with the children, as well as parents. We served pulled pork, tacos in a bag, and hot dogs! Many raffle prices were donated, from Hoffman businesses as well as Centralia businesses.
The Rainbow Girls, from the Masonic Hall, volunteered to help with the Children's games.
The help and enthusiasm of all involved demonstrates what can be accomplished when Pals pull together!
It was a wonderful Festival.
My personal and grateful thank you to all who volunteered and contributed prizes, cash, equipment, talent, and support to the Hoffman Library.
Lila Hoffman, Library Clerk.
