Circulation Services

Always have your library card with you. The loan period for most materials is two weeks, with the exception of movies which are one week. Renewals by telephone are general allowed one time.  A second renewal may be avaialable if the material is brought into the library. Your library card is necessary for in house renewals. Some materials cannot be renewed.  Confirmation is required to renew your materials.

Reference Assistance

Reference materials are available for in-house use. Questions by telephone and email are welcome. Access our online reference form here.

Automated Catalog and Interlibrary Loans

Our patrons may use the public access terminals to search the database of over 60 libraries in the Shawnee Library System. Materials not held in our library may be delivered from member libraries by using the patron's barcode number. Materials not held in the database may be searched on OCLC and the staff will request it for the patron. Access our online request form here.

Computers

There are 8 computers available for adults, age18 and older, in the downstairs Reference Room and 4 computers upstairs in the Teen Room for ages 13-17. Word processing, spreadsheets, Power Point, and Internet are available on these computers. Patrons will need their library card number and pin number to access the computers.  There are two computers with games for children 12 and under upstairs in the Children's Library.

Photocopy

There is a public access photocopier located in the nonfiction room adjacent to the circulation desk.  Copies are 10 cents per page.
