SRP Update
Week 1 - bats
Four bat-themed stories were read, then for crafts we made bat finger puppets from card stock, pompoms and googly eyes. Goody bag contained individual drink mix packet, rice krispie treat and bottle of bubbles.

Week 2 - ghosts
Four ghost-themed stories were read, craft was a ghost wind chime made from plastic picnic plate, fishing line and bells. Goody bag contained spooky themed note pads, individual drink mix packets, and chocolate cookie treats.
Week 3 - monsters
Five books with monster theme were read, craft consisted of building our own monsters with construction paper, glue, markers, sequins and sparkly add-ons. Goody bag contained small individual monsters, individual drink mix packets, and selected cookie treats. This craft was really popular. It was decided that materials for 'monster-making' and other craft supplies should be kept at the library for additional craft sessions.
Week 4 - spiders
Five books were read with spider theme, craft consisted of making spiders out of small suckers, pipe cleaners, googly eyes and glue. Goody bag contained jumping spiders, individual drink mix packets, and cookie treats.
