DESCRIPTION:September is Library Card Sign-up Month and Centralia Regional Library District is joining the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries nationwide to remind everyone about the valuable resources available with a library card. \nSince 1987\, Library Card Sign-up Month has been held each September to mark the beginning of the school year. During the month\, the ALA and libraries work together in a national effort to ensure every child signs up for their own library card. \nFrom September 1 to September 30\, everyone gets entered into a grand prize drawing if they do any of the following at Centralia Regional Library District:\n– Get their first library card.\n– Checks their library card account with the front desk to make sure it’s up to date.\n– Replaces their library card. (Replacement cards are FREE the entire month!)\nMinors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when doing any of the above. \nKids up to age 15 who go upstairs to our Youth Department (elevator accessible) and show Youth Staff their library card will also receive a Monical’s coupon for a free pizza. \nCome in and hit all those right notes with your library card today!
