What brings you joy? Whether it’s cozying up with a new story, learning a new skill, gathering with the community, or something else, you can find your joy at Centralia Regional Library District.
National Library Week, April 19-25, 2026, is a time to celebrate the many ways libraries bring people together, spark imagination, and support lifelong learning.
Join us in celebrating National Library Week with special activities and goodies:
– Line dancing with Bonnie Love on Monday, April 20, 5-6 p.m.
– Sensory storytimes about water, boats, and bubbles on Wednesday, April 22, at 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
– Activity stations (writing and journaling; arts and crafts; games, puzzles, and LEGO) set up throughout the library during open hours Monday, April 20, to Friday, April 24
– Free popcorn for anyone who visits during the week
– Entry into a grand prize giveaway at the end of the week when you use, renew, or replace your library card anytime during the week
First celebrated in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries of all types across the country each April.
Come tell us how you find joy at the library today!
